The Bargonian Movie

So after months of dead silence, the Bargonian and posts on this blog returns. And now this guy gets a movie.

I had planned to do one for like forever, but with the time limit one YouTube forcing me to split it up in several parts, it would just feel like several episodes titles as one movie.

And hey, I never did call the Bargonian Adventures for episodes anyways. I called them parts, cause it was just all parts of one big adventure.

But now YouTube allows me to upload a video longer than the limit, so I've been making this movie for about a month now. Currently clocking in at 40 minutes, and about halway there to the final product.

I do have a new computer this time too, so the video will be high quality. And expect better fights now that I've gotten better with green screen and such.

So yeah, give it at leas another month before it's done.

Well, at least I got the the last voice actor I needed ever since one of them quit on me. I alsmost have all the voices now so I'll start production within a few days and see if I can make the whole thing before the month is over.

So what else is happening? Well, during my procces of creating ideas for Jackin' Jack, I accidenticaly... turned the whole thing into a trilogy of books.

See that's what happens. What happened when I originally only planned to have one book of Fate of Untaca (where RotD is based from)? It got turned into a series of 5 books pluss 2 which are prequells for characters.

So basically, I got 10 books now in my head that I need to write down; and I know I've kept talking about writting these things, but how far have I gotten?

Well, I think it will take a few years before I really start woring seriously on them. I'm still too young for this and need to become more mature with my ideas. I don't want it to turn out to be bullshit.

Will there still be that Fallout 3 machinima of Jackin' Jack. Of course, though it will be different from what I will write down (mainly because the books won't take place in the Fallout universe).

So stay tuned or whatever.

I've recently tried out making my own adventures and already have 3 adventures up on Sporepedia. Long adventures. Really long and hard adventures.

December Updates of Today

So after two months of not updating this shitty blog and not making much progress on "The Oblivious", I guess I should talk about what's going on with my projects.

THE OBLIVIOUS

Normally you would be expecting me to have made a lot of progress on this thing I've been talking about so much but... not really.
But it's not because I'm lazy! Actually......... yes. Yes, I'm lazy. I need to get my motivation amplifier fixed... forever!1!!1!!!11

But it's also not ready to be made!
There are still some voice actors who have not yet finished their part for the first episode yet, pluss I need a replacement for one of the character. I'll post a video about it sometime to let people try out.

So....... all I have to say is that you people have to wait for 2010 before you can get to watch this series. I apologice.

Well, my problem with animation mods seems to be solved for the most part. Thanks to "darlelite6667" for recommending me the Groovatron mod. Really appreciate it :)

Now, if only I could get some order to my second problem, I should be ready to go.
Though I think I'll be able to make some kind of 1337 PROMO before I get to that.

Jacked Updates

I mentioned once that I was going to do a Fallout machinima called Jackin' Jack, and here's the status:

There's planned to be like 23 episodes, only that they will be pretty short, with like under 10 minutes of length each. I've created all the most important characters, and created a nice little storyline.

So does that mean I'm ready to make it?
Well...

No.

It's still too early for me to start making this machinima due to the limitations Fallout 3 currently has, and here's my examples:

- Lack of animation mods. While Oblivion had Actors In Charge, there's not a mod out there for Fallout 3 that lets you do basic animations from the game, at least as far as I know. Sure, there is the Umpa mod for the game, but that mostly involves dancing. And then there are some that only add poses, where the chraracter will just stay still in a position.

- No save file editor. In Oblivion, I could easily use a program called "Oblivion Face Exhange Lite", which would allow me to use all the characters I had created at the same time. There's nosuch available thing yet for this game though, and seeing how I have involved a lot of characters, it's vital for the machinima. And yes, I know there is something out there that edits faces, but those programs only lets me copy my face to another NPC, while another lets me take a face from Oblivion and add it to my character in Fallout 3.

Maybe there are some things I haven't noticed, ormaybe there's some mods I don't know of yet. Well, if you have some suggestions or discover a case of dumbassery in what I've written, feel free to tell me and rip mea new asshole if you like :)

It is done. This series has been going on for like 2 years, but it is now finally over.

Never thought I would be able to make an episode this long, let alone making it in less than a month while still gettting used to the new editing software.

I worked a little bit on this so I could practice a bit with Sony Vegas Movie Edit Pro, since I'm going to use it to make the next Bargonian Adventures.
So if any of you think that I spent almost two months on this and have abandoned my Oblivion stuff, be aware that it only took me two days to make it.

And please, don't pick on this new series just because it's not what I usualy do. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, and I'll just quickly make the second episode before I finnish Bargonian Adventures.

So there it is, I now have my "crew" assembled. I was quite surprised to get over 50 messages from people who wanted to voice act, and I thank you all for that.
And since I only got about 20 characters, that means that I have to decline alot of people... which I will do through this post, since I can't message back everyone without putting some effort. What am I, a human :P

First of all, I'll list of all the voice actors for the series, so you people that didn't make it in the end can see that you're names are not there. Yeah :)

Before I move on to this new project, I'd like to finnish the series that really got me to where I am. Which is lazing around in front of my computer, but I got somewhere.
This will take quite some, so the voice actors will have plenty of time to do things as they like at their own pace when I send them scripts, which will be soon.

Oblivious Update 4

I just keep updating on this, don't I?

Anyway, it will definetly be 10 episodes now. I've just finished writting the script for the seventh one, and it looks like this plot will only be resolved in 3 more episodes.
But hey, they'll be as long as ROTD episodes. Maybe longer. And I will be able to work better on this since I'm now planning things ahead.

I had to do a lot of things in the Construction Set to create some scenery, add new stuff to character's race, make sure the items I need for several characters are placed where I can easily retrieve them, do some things with the lighting, and try to make some mods work with others.

All that above is just kindergarden stuff.

I will soon be finished with the whole script!

I've been going on a mod download spree for my new series that I'm going to be utilizing. I'm currently writting the script for the third episode, and looking at how the story is progressing, it might turn out to become 10 episodes after all.
Mostly because I keep getting new ideas, but now I need to stop the thinking, otherwise the plot will stretch out as far as ROTD.

I've downloaded Better Cities to make everything look... better. And more serious. Because this new series is serious. Seriously.
I'll also use Bartholm, which will play a big part in the story. I've been a fan of the Bartholm mod for a very long time.
What else? Oh yeah, more clothing mods for characters, and masks. Pluss, this time I'm using one of those beatiful races.
And lastly, a mod to make the size of breasts double like 4 times over. Why? So other people that don't care about storyline will have a reason to watch.

So for my new series, I've now created all the character who are going to star in it.
We got like 13 male characters and 3 female characters, and like 6 sub-characters.
Well, I do have a hard time finding female voice actors...

I will only start recruiting as soon as I'm finished with the script for the whole series.
That wont take long.
And I want to complete Bargonian Adventures first.
It will all come true in the end.
One of the females is hot as shit.

Working Title: "The Oblivious"

I've started working on the script for a new Oblivion machinima that I will make after Bargonian Adventures. What I want to accomplish this time is to make serious one that is actually good. In difference from ROTD, it wont consist of super duper characters with awesome powers beating the shit out of each other and stoping a demon from ruling the world.

There were mainly 2 problems with ROTD:
1. The plot stretched out to far and it had too many characters, so I'd have to make really many episodes to finnish it.
2. Many of the characters were taken out from a series of books I'm working on called "Fate of Untaca", and in the proccess, I might spoil too much about the contents in the books. Pluss, it's also seems cheap of me to use characters I've already invented.

So, first of all, this new series is going to be short, consisting of about 5-10 episodes. I think it might turn out to be six, though. Furthermore, I'm going to new characters who mostly are just regular people. I think I'll bring back Hjaldor Goredom though, since he doesn't originate from Untaca and I'm in need of a Count of Kvatch.

The project is called "The Oblivious" so far. I might stick with it, or I might come up with something better.

I'll keep you updated.

Bargonian Plans

First of all, I've finnished the 14th part, surprisingly really fast too.
Basicaly, this one wasn't really about anything, it was just setting up for the grand finale which will be PART 15. Anyway, the link to the new episode is here:

Just first off, many thanks to Guy and Nugs for doing some voice acting in this episode, those two guys are awesome. They'll also appear in the finale. Literaly.

Actually, with the title "Hal 'n' the Spartan" I did plan to make a tribute to JonC's Arby 'n' the Chief and use an opening in the same style. I quickly scrapped that from the script when I came to disliking that series, but I kept the title. Yeah, I think Arby 'n' the Chief kinda sucks now.

PART 15 is planned to be 33 minutes long, cut into three 11 minute YouTube videos. I really want to end this with a big bang, adding as much shit as possible, and make some long and epic fight scenes. It's about time I made Ector and Ugly One fight.
I also plan to have a really long opening sequence to pay tribute to the previous episodes, and a long ending sequence to leave this series with huge satisfaction. It'll be great.

And for those whose wondering about the Gray Fox; is he dead or not? Well, he is. I'll just make sure to establish that in the final part.
I was actually in PART 12 planning to have Ugly One fight both Ector and the Fox, only to realize that the Ector he's fighting is actually the corpse of the Gray Fox turned into a clone, and the Gray Fox he's fighting was actually a shapeshifting Ector.
That would probably have been too confusing, so I made Ector meet Sticky instead. And more things were changed.

In season 3, Ugly One was actually supposed to fall in love with a girl and try many times to make her fall for him by doing stupid things. Hal was supposed to accompany him and be an asshole to other ladies.
However, I have no clue when it comes to making romantic comedies like that. I have no experience.
I've never had a girlfriend. I've never kissed anyone. I've never ever fallen in love with someone. I've never cared.

God, I'm pathetic...

Fudging Funcom!

You know... I really shat myself when I found out there were Norwegian vidoegames in existence. I mean, I hadn't been paying much attention, when I saw the Norwegian title for Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, I had my suspicions but... damn there really are games made in Norway!

I wanted to check this one out, but then I found out there was a predecessor or whatever you call it, The Longest Journey, so I had to play that one first, right. Well, I did, and let me tell you that it was one of the most interesting games I've ever played in my entire lifespan. The characters were loveable, the puzzles were challenging, and the story was... well, quite good and kept me hanging. Allthough a bit confusing, it didn't leave me with much questions once it all ended.
Well, it really was a great game.

Then it's time for Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. The first time around, I was wondering why this game wasn't called "The Longest Journey 2: Dreamfall" or something like that. Well, after playing I understand because I wouldn't call it a seguel to the first game. The gameplay is totally different, and it doesn't really follow up the original storyline. This game was... really dissapointing. And the ending was unforgivable.

In difference from the first game where it was an overhead-view and you clicked on things with the cursor, in this game, you'll be running around in a 3rd-person perspective. For having played the first game, this took some time to get used to, but this wasn't areally a issue. And I wouldn't really call this a game, it's more like an interactive movie. Most of the time, I just kept running from location to location just to procced to see a really long cutscene every single time. Oh there are some puzzles, but not many, and most of them are ridicilously easy. Many of the good old characters are back, but they've just lost some of their charm, except some certain individuals.
You play as three characters, but I don't really see the point in playing as that Apostle guy. I didn't see what I accomplished with that guy. There's also a fighting system. It sucks.

Yeah yeah, enough about that. Everyone keeps saying the story was beyond epicness of the epic. Yes, it was great. It was a great story with about 298 zillion trillion plotholes or so. I can make a really long list of all the questions I had when completing the game. Watch me!

01. What was it at the beginnig that Brian Westhouse had done wrong when the monks did that ritual?
02. What is this thing known as "The Undreaming"?
03. I still don't get why Zoe's mind materializes in Arcadia when using the Dreamer. Mind filling that in for me, Funcom?
04. Who the heck is this "The White Woman"?
05. What are those twins exactly?
06. And why did they kill poor old cyborgish Alvin Peats in the end?
07. What exactly happened to the Blue Draic Kin?
08. In the end, What did Zoe mean by saying that the Reza who appeared in the room was not the real one?
09. And on that note, what truly happened to the real Reza then?
10. Who the fudge is this Prophet guy I stalked but never found out about his identity?
11. How is Marcus really involved with all that Dreamer stuff?
12. What or who attacked the White Draic Kin? My dibs are on Brian, but who knows...
13. How are Zoe and Faith really related?
14. Helene Chang, what's her connection to Zoe's dad? Why didn't she let Zoe wake up? What's with this woman???
15. Did April truly die? Our beloved heroine of the first game? What?
16. And what did Faith mean that Zoe had now saved April?
17. What became of the Apostle guy?
18. What's the tower for?
19. More info on these six young girls known as "The Six"? Please?
20. How is any of this dreaming business in Stark affecting Arcadia? I mean, I what was with the dream thingie portal that April discovered?
21. I get that Alvin is now an immortal cyborg, but what's up with his abilities?
22. How did Kian, the Apostle guy, so easily turn from a loyal servant to a complete pussy?
23. So we get to know what became of Charlie and Emma, but what about Fiona who was about as important?
24. And what about....... Ok, maybe I'll start nitpicking as hell now... Think I'll stop right here.

Yeah, sure, I could always do some research to get an answer on some of these, but really, do I bother?

Funcom better make a sequel and explain some of these things. And have more gameplay!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Well, I read and watched a lot of bad reviews of this movie, but I never expected this to be so... pointless. I mean, for an origin, there's not really much interresting going on and... it gets a bit boring and such.

Not that I really had expected much since the infamous X-Men 3 (pukorama), but it couldn't turn out worse, now could it? Now for the other two, I thought the first X-Men was pretty much okay. We got the famous X-Men brawling it out with some of the well known villians (even for a guy like me who don't know that much about X-Men), which was all there was to it, and that was pretty allright, I guess. X-Men 2 I thought was pretty good, nothing more to say there. When it comes to this one, I could say it's a little bit better than the third. I just hated X-Men 3, while I just came to a point where I didn't give a shit about what was going on in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

So as far as the origin goes, Wolverine was born with the regeneration and claws. Like all other mutants. Aha. Actually, when I had watched X-Men 2, I thought he had gained the claws during that experiment on him; I thought the regeneration was his mutation, but I could just be talking out of my ass right now. And then as a part of his origin, he was given adamantium and shit. Actually, there was only adamantium, no shit there. Well thanks, I pretty much knew all about that project allready. Well, we just add all that information into the movie, and slam in between a bunch of fight scenes, explosions and mutants that don't need to be there. So I didn't learn much about Wolverine in this movie, other than him being in wars and stuff (we don't go much into that part) and how he lost his memories in the first place, which was STUPID!

When it comes to mutants that don't need to be there, we'll just call it "fanservice". They had no purpose other than to please the fanbase, and the studio probably fucked up most of these "fanservices". Cyclops' there because... I don't know, he does just as much as he does in the other movies. We got Gambit there, who plays a role that pretty much any other character could have gotten, but hey, we needed Gambit into this picture. And what should we do about having a final villian? Oh I know, let's just randomly throw Deadpool in there at the last minute, fuck up his character as much as possible (I call it the "Spider-Man 3 syndrome"), and give him the powers of the other mutants in the movie just for an excuse of having those mutant in this movie.

So it's all just Wolverine going around kicking some ass, meeting "fanservices", and then get super amnesia. Most of the action and fighting wasn't really that impressive, which made me care even less. Well, overall, I don't recommend this one. X-Men Origins: Wolverine doesn't give much away about the character and shouldn't be worth anyone's time. Sure, you could check it out if all you care about is the fighting, so yeah. Fighting wasn't really that bad, but nothing impressive.

Did I like anything? Well, when the whole team with Wolverine, Sabertooth, Deadpool, Blob etc. attacks that one place. Why? Cause it had fucking Ryan Reyonolds in it! R.R makes everything awesome! Why did they butcher Deadpool at the end and use another actor? I wanted to see more of Reyonolds! He would have saved everything!
Hmm? Oh yeah, Blade Trinity! Yeah, he couldn't save that one.

There's supposed to be a Deadpool movie in 2012. I'll definatly check it out even if the character is totally raped. Ryan Reyonolds jerking around and kicking ass through the whole movie? I'll buy that!

EDIT:

Oh yeah, it would also be nice to know why Sabertooth turned from what he is in this movie to a braindead caveman henchman in X-Men. Must have been the cocaine...

1. I'm doing like exams and stuffs nowadays, and I want to at least get a passing grade so I can get a job as a dumpster or something.

2. I'm lazy and get sleepy when I think about "working" on my pro machinima.

At least I know what to do with PART 13, what kind of stupid excuses of jokes (he punched someone rofl) to put in there and stuff, and I'm trying to make it feel more like the older ones. Got ideas for what might happen in the last two parts, and yeah, thinking about finnishing it all off with a movie.

Then find something else to do. Fallout 3? Maybe wait for TES V? Be completely original and use a game nobody has ever used to make machinima?

Bah, I'll probably quit and spend more time on important stuff. Like playing RapeLay and masturbating.
